Ingredients
Flatliner Burger
- 2 tbsp(s) Unsalted Butter
- 4 each Kontos® 4” Flatbread
- 2 tbsp(s) Whole Grain Mustard Aioli
- 1 lb(s) Ground Beef 80/20%
- To Taste Kosher Salt
- To Taste Ground Black Pepper
- 4 each Provolone Cheese Sliced
- 0.25 cup(s) Caramelized Onions
- 4 each Bacon Strips Cooked, Reserved Warm
- 6 each Dill Pickle Coins
- 0.5 lb(s) Oregano Fries Reserved Warm
Whole Grain Mustard Aioli
- 0.5 cup(s) Mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp(s) Whole Grain Mustard
- 1 tbsp(s) Lemon Juice Fresh
- to taste Kosher Salt
- to taste Ground Black Pepper
Instructions
Flatliner Burger
- Pre-heat a griddle over medium heat.
- Spread half of the butter across the griddle. Flat side down, toast the flatbreads for 1-2 minutes or until golden, flip and toast the other side for 1 minute or until lightly toasted; Set aside.
- Increase the heat of the griddle to medium high.
- Mold the ground beef in to 4 oz. patties, transfer them on to a sheet pan lined with parchment paper and season the surface with salt and pepper.
- Spread remaining butter across the griddle and add the burgers seasoned side facing down.
- Press the burgers down with a metal spatula to flatten and season remaining side. Griddle the first side for 3-5 minutes or until edges are browned.
- Flip the burgers and top each with 1 slice of provolone cheese, dome/cover to allow them to steam for 1-2 minutes, or until cheese is melted and internal cooking temperature of burgers reaches 155 Degrees F.
- To assemble, spread 1/2 Tbsp(s) of aioli on the flatside of each flatbread, Top half of the flatbreads with 2 cheesy burger patties, 2 Tbsp(s) of caramelized onions, 2 Strips of crispy bacon, and 3 Pickle Chips before covering with remaining slices of flatbread.
- Serve with a side of crispy oregano fries and enjoy.
Whole Grain Mustard Aioli
- Combine all ignredients in the base a medium mixing bowl and whisk until well incorporated; Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the aioli into a an airtight container, cover and refrigerate until needed.
