Special guest Chef Archana Mundhe, from the Ministry of Curry, visited the Kontos Kitchen recently to create an authentic Indian dish on Facebook Live. Mundhe is the author of “The Essential Indian Instant Pot Cookbook: Authentic Flavors and Modern Recipes for Your Electric Pressure.” She hosts weekly cooking videos on her Ministry of Curry blog.
While at Kontos, Mundhe made Paneer Makhani Pizza. Her delicious Indian dish incorporates Kontos Rustics Collection Naan (both Traditional & Garlic varieties). The Facebook Live video is now available below and on the Kontos Foods YouTube Channel. (Kontos showcases a variety of original recipe using its products on YouTube.)
What is Makhani? It translates to “With Butter” and is a classic Indian sauce. Makhani ingredients include garam masala, tomatoes and cream. Although, Mundhe says cream is optional. She says the secret to vibrant, bright orange curries is in the chili poweder she uses. Look for mild Kashmiri red chili powder to get that robust color. For step-by-step instructions, visit the recipe on her website.
Kontos works with a variety of talented Food Bloggers and Influencers. It looks forward to welcoming Mundhe back to its Kitchen soon!
