Ingredients
- 4 ea Kontos® 6” Pre-Oiled Gyro Bread
- 0.50 cup(s) Kontos® Tzatziki Sauce
- 0.50 lb(s) Kontos® Off the Cone Gyro Thawed, Griddled, Reserved Warm
- 12 slices Roma Tomatoes Half Moon Slice, 1/4 in.
- 0.50 cup(s) Red Onions Peeled, Halved, Thinly Sliced
- 0.25 cup(s) Kontos® Tsopanaki Greek Feta Crumbled
- 4 tsp(s) Parsley Minced
Instructions
- Heat a griddle over medium-high heat and proceed to toast both sides of the gyro bread for 30 seconds or until warm and pliable.
- Spread each flatbread with 2tbsp(s) of tzatziki sauce before topping each with 2 oz. of gyro meat, 3 slices of tomatoes, 2 Tbsp(s) cup of sliced onions, 1 Tbsp(s) of greek Tsopanaki Greek Feta, and 1 tsp(s) of fresh chopped parsley.
- Optional: Wrap each gyro in an 8 1/2"" x 12"" piece of parchment paper for a more an elevated street food experience.
