Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup water
- 1 apple thinly sliced
- 1 cup cranberries
- 1 wedge of Brie cheese sliced
- A few sprigs of fresh thyme
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Heat olive oil in a sauté pan over medium heat.
- Add the cranberries and cook until they start to caramelize.
- Stir in the sugar and water, cooking until the mixture reduces slightly. Remove from heat and transfer the cranberry mixture to a bowl.
- In the same pan (rinse if necessary), add the sliced apples and cook until softened and lightly caramelized. Remove from heat.
- Place the Kontos Tavern Flatbread on a baking sheet.
- Spread the sliced Brie cheese evenly over the flatbread.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 3–5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove the flatbread from the oven.
- Top with the caramelized apples, cranberry mixture, and fresh thyme sprigs.
- Slice into 4 pieces and serve immediately.
