Kontos Foods to Showcase Fillo & Kataifi Doughs, and Flatbread Products at Seafood Expo North America

Visit booth #2278 to see and sample Fillo and Kataifi-based dishes with shrimp and salmon; Kontos will also exhibit at the New England Food Show booth #3373

Paterson, N.J. – March 9, 2014 – Kontos Foods, Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of traditional Greek and Mediterranean foods, today announced it will be exhibiting its Fillo and Kataifi dough products at the Seafood Expo North America in Boston, from March 15-17 2015, at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. Attendees can visit booth #2278 to experience dishes made with salmon, seafood and more, as well as a selection of Kontos Foods flatbreads. Kontos will also be exhibiting its products at the New England Food Show, booth #3373, at the same venue.

“Kontos Foods’ Fillo products make fish and seafood dishes extra special,” said Steve Kontos, vice president of Kontos Foods. “Kataifi dough, for instance, can be used to create a casing of golden strands around shrimp or scallops, which can be baked or fried to create a crunchy, crowd-pleasing treat. Other popular items include salmon with spinach and feta cheese, wrapped and baked in delicious traditional Fillo dough.”

In addition to Fillo and Kataifi, attendees at both shows will also be able to see and sample Kontos’ flatbread products, such as Cocktail Flatbreads.
