Kontos unveils “Greek Taverna” display, plans to show off its new dips, flatbreads
Paterson, New Jersey – May 31, 2017 – Kontos Foods, Inc. (www.kontos.com), a U.S.- based manufacturer and distributor of traditional artisan breads and Mediterranean specialty foods, today announced that the company will be exhibiting at IDDBA 2017, the International Dairy Deli Bakery Association 2017 Show, June 4-6 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.
Kontos Foods, which will be exhibiting at booth #1445, is proud to unveil its new display–fashioned after an authentic rustic Greek Taverna, reflecting the company’s mission to make food that tastes fresh and authentic like bakers did over a century ago. Its full range of offerings will be on display, including over 50 types of Flatbread, and Fillo products, such as baklava. It will also feature its 12-inch Gluten-Free Pre-Grilled Wraps, which are a wheat-free, gluten-free, wrap. Kontos will also be sampling its new Greek yogurt jalapeño dip, an all-natural, gluten-free product that’s perfect for spreading on Pita bread, dipping raw vegetables, topping your favorite meats, or whatever your imagination allows.
The IDDBA represents a significant customer segment, as it attracts more than 9,000 attendees from the dairy, deli and bakery industry to meet exhibitors at nearly 2,000 booths. “Kontos Foods’ flatbreads, desserts and products are served at local establishments worldwide,” said Steve Kontos, vice president of Kontos Foods. “We’re not only networking with new potential customers, we’re getting constant feedback, allowing us to innovate with flavors and new products.
