Kontos Foods to Exhibit at FoodEx Japan 2018

Offerings will include a wide variety of artisan flatbreads, Fillo dough and All-Natural, French-Style Crepes

Paterson, N.J. – Feb. 28, 2018 – Kontos Foods, Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of traditional artisan breads and Mediterranean specialty foods, is headed to FoodEx Japan 2018 for the 43rd International Food & Beverage Exhibition, being held in Tokyo March 6-9. Kontos will showcase a wide range of products, including several varieties of artisan Flatbreads, its Fillo and Kataifi Doughs, Classic Baklava, and Nut Rolls. Local favorites include Kontos All-Natural, French-Style Crepes, which come in 9-inch and 11-inch sizes in both traditional and savory flavors. Light and fresh and surprisingly low in calories, the Crepes pair well with a variety of fillings in any type cuisine. Another popular item are the Mini Cocktail Flatbreads, which were a hit for sampling at last year’s show in the form of Asian-inspired “amuse bouches” which used toppings from readily available ingredients from one’s pantry or refrigerator, such as shrimp, caviar, chopped egg, mashed potatoes and sliced vegetables, to turn the bite-sized flatbreads into artful appetizers, a perfect accompaniment to any sushi platter.
