Kontos Foods to Exhibit Ethnic Flatbreads, Fillo Dough and New Products at Anuga Show

As part of its global expansion efforts, Kontos Foods heads to Cologne, Germany, to showcase its entire range of products, including recently launched items

Paterson, N.J. – Oct. 3, 2017 –Kontos Foods, Inc., (www.kontos.com) a U.S.- based manufacturer and distributor of traditional artisan breads and Mediterranean specialty foods, today announced that as part of its ongoing effort to expand its export business, the company will be showcasing its full line of Pita & Flatbreads, Fillo doughs and related pastries at Anuga 2017: Taste the Future, a Food and Beverage show in Cologne, Germany, Oct. 7-11.

Visiting the Kontos Foods’ booth at the Anuga show, USA Pavilion – Booth #C-41 (Hall 4.2), attendees will be able to see Kontos Foods’ over 50 varieties of Flatbread, including the top-selling Pocket-Less Pita®, Greek Lifestyle Flatbread®, Gyro breads, grilled Panini breads, Various Nan breads, All-Natural, French-Style Crepes, and other ethnic flatbreads. New items to be introduced include a 2-pack Pizza Crust, a 2-pack 9-inch Pre-Grilled Panini Bread, a 2-pack Cocktail Flatbread. The Anuga show is one of the largest trade shows, with roughly 160,000 visitors coming to check out products from more than 7,400 exhibitors.

The company will also be showcasing Kontos Foods’ Fillo dough of varying thicknesses, as well as Kataifi dough–finely spun strands of dough that add golden crunch to seafood and dessert dishes. Attendees will be able to sample several Kontos’ products, including Kontos Foods’ ready-made International Pastry Puffs (aka Greek Loukoumades).
