BREAKFAST OMELET

INGREDIENTS:
Kontos Flatbread
Butter or oil
Ham or turkey ham, diced
Red & green peppers, diced
Onions, diced
Eggs or egg substitute, beaten
American or cheddar cheese, grated
Melon, pineapple, or orange, sliced or scooped

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat Kontos Flatbread to make flexible (11/2 minutes at 350°F). Heat butter in a skillet or omelet pan. Add ham, peppers, and onions and sauté. Add eggs and prepare the omelet. Place omelet on Kontos Flatbread and fold over. Garnish with melon, pineapple, or orange.

OTHER SUGGESTIONS: Prepare the omelet with asparagus and onions for a delicious change of pace.

ROAST BEEF & SWISS

INGREDIENTS:
Kontos Flatbread
Roast beef, cooked to taste and sliced
Swiss cheese, sliced
Thousand Island dressing
Bibb lettuce (optional)
Dill pickle slice, chilled (optional)

DIRECTIONS:
Cut a Kontos Flatbread in half and place desired amount of roast beef and Swiss cheese on one half. Spread thousand island dressing on the second half of the Flatbread or offer the dressing on the side. Add lettuce and top with other half of Kontos Flatbread. Serve with chilled dill pickle slice.

OTHER SUGGESTIONS: Serve sandwich warm by placing in electric grill, panini machine, skillet, or even in the oven and heating until cheese melts.

QUICK & EASY PIZZA

INGREDIENTS:
Kontos Pizza Parlor Crust
Pizza sauce (or spaghetti sauce with dried oregano added)
Mozzarella and cheddar cheese, shredded
Suggested additional toppings: Fresh basil, artichoke hearts, pepperoni, crumbled sausage, and/or sliced mushrooms, peppers, onions, and olives

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 375°F. Spread sauce over Kontos Flatbread almost to edge. Sprinkle cheese over sauce and add your favorite toppings. Bake on a baking sheet until cheese melts (about 4 minutes). For a crisper pizza crust, place directly on oven rack. Slice into wedges and serve.

OTHER SUGGESTIONS:
Pesto Seafood Pizza – Spread pesto sauce on Kontos Flatbread. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over sauce. Add cooked shrimp or bay scallops and bake as above.

BRUSCHETTA & TOASTED FLATBREAD

BRUSCHETTA INGREDIENTS:
Red and yellow grape tomatoes, diced
Onion, finely diced
Fresh basil leaves, chopped
Garlic, finely chopped
Olive oil
Black pepper (optional)
Balsamic Glaze* (optional)

FLATBREAD INGREDIENTS:
Kontos Flatbread
Butter, softened or oil
Fresh herbs , finely chopped (basil, parsley, oregano, or rosemary)

BRUSCHETTA DIRECTIONS: Combine tomato, onion, garlic, and basil with a little oil. If preparing in advance, refrigerate in covered container until ready to serve. Serve with prepared crispy flatbread wedges (see below).

TOASTED FLATBREAD WEDGES DIRECTIONS: Preheat oven to 375°F. Brush Kontos Flatbread with butter or oil. Place on a baking sheet and sprinkle with herbs. Heat in oven for about 2 minutes (or longer if you prefer them crispier). Cut into 1 to 11/2 inch strips or wedges and place in serving basket. To add a spicy zip, sprinkle flatbread with red pepper flakes, white or black sesame seeds, and/or cracked black pepper.

*Balsamic Glaze: 1 cup Balsamic vinegar, 1/4 cup water, 1/4 cup brown sugar. Combine and reduce by 50% over medium heat while stirring constantly.

CHICKEN PARMESAN ENTREE

INGREDIENTS:
Breaded chicken breast patties (precooked frozen or freshly prepared*)
Kontos Grilled Panini Flatbread, two pieces
Prepared thick tomato sauce
Mozzarella, shredded or sliced

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 375°F. Prepare frozen breaded chicken according to package instructions and slice into strips. Place a piece of Kontos Grilled Panini Flatbread on a baking sheet. Cover with strips of chicken. Top chicken with tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese and cover with a second flatbread. Heat in oven until cheese melts. Plate and serve.

*Freshly prepared breaded chicken breasts: Combine 1 egg and 1 tablespoon water to make an egg-wash. Dredge chicken breasts in egg-wash and coat with bread crumbs or Panko. Deep fry or pan fry chicken breasts. Slice into strips and complete the recipe above.

SWEET & SIMPLE CRISPY STICKS

INGREDIENTS:
Sugar
Cinnamon
Kontos Flatbread
Butter or oil

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 375°F. Combine sugar and cinnamon or use the pre-mixed variety. Brush top of Kontos Flatbread with butter or oil and place on a baking sheet. Sprinkle sugar/cinnamon mixture over flatbread. Toast until crisp (about 4 minutes). Cut into wedges or 1 inch wide strips and serve.

OTHER SUGGESTIONS: Serve with ice cream or sherbet, fresh fruit, or applesauce. For an after-school or anytime treat, cool and store in an air-tight plastic container for up to a week at room temperature.
